I came to Virtual Snow after having a badly broken leg that made it a challenge to pick up skiing again after 3 years off of the slopes. I skied on the trainer with Shaun Lund as my instructor and in 7 days got my ski ability back. Reduced my limp to minimal and gained a lot of Stamina!

When the big Family Ski Vacation came I was in shape and able to keep up with and pass my high mountain Brother In-Law. Ha! Felt Good! Skied for four days in Fernie Canada. And some deeep powder at Silver Mtn. in North Idaho.

I came to virtual snow to continue rehab after surgery to repair a broken knee -- within a few sessions I regained my balance and my first ski trip was a huge success. It sounds like a joke, but I had to break my leg to learn how to steer!

I spent 4 hours training on Virtual Snow with Bob. I skied better than I had since I lived in Colorado 15 years ago! Beyond skiing great, one great benefit was that I felt no pain on day 2 or 3!!! Imagine, no soreness, and I'm 41 years old. Last year, I was a wreck on day 2. Thanks Bob!

Hi gang,

Just skied Bogus Basin in Boise ID today. 2-11-2001 My wife noticed the improvement in my ski ability and even gave me a few compliments. It was a hard day skiing in 3-4 inch of new on an icy and beat up base. So all my balance training really helped. Thanks Bob and VirtualSnow!

The snow in the northwest is skimpy and they have low water content. All the hill was chopped up from the skiing over the past weeks and a hot day last week that melted a lot of it into an Ice-Hardpack base. swoosh skid, scrape lurch! As you hit an edge on ice.

I skied hard from 10 am until 3:30 pm with all the deep and steep they had to offer and only fell 2 times when I crossed my tips. Really fun. I'm not tired or sore. Bogus has a lot of varied territory and plenty of black diamond runs. We skied them all.

So if you are ever in Boise bring your skis.

Kudos to Bad Bob, This note is a long time coming, Wow, Awesome , Spectacular, words seem hard to come by that would truly describe the impact VIRTUAL SNOW has had on my skiing and life. I thought I knew how to ski, but was not even close, because when I began to train with Bob in 1996 I was turned on to the true art of skiing, never a day on the slopes goes by that Virtual Snow does not impact my skiing and confidence in myself, allowing me to challenge myself and reach my goal of becoming a better skier every time out on the slopes. I highly recommend Virtual Snow to anyone, skier or boarder of any level. Thanks Bob, your BADDER than BAD, your the BADDEST!

I write this with a huge smile on my face as I reflect on all that I have learned and accomplished with Virtual Snow Training. My experience has allowed me to have stronger legs & a flatter stomach –all which my boyfriend is very happy about- but more importantly I can now share his love of skiing & keep up with him on intermediate runs. I never in a million years thought I would be skiing this winter, but here I am 8 sessions later writing about my amazing experience with Virtual Snow & L. J. In January I was going to the French Alps for two weeks of skiing, but had never skied in my life. I took two lessons a week for five weeks with Bob and Shaun, just before flying to France. My first two hours on the slope I was constantly falling, but I remembered Bob's words, "Snow will be different than carpet," so I transferred my brains to my feet as taught, remembered my lessons, then did the math. By the end of day one, I was handling Green Diamond, by day three Blue Diamond, and by day six I was skiing Red Diamond slopes from the peak of the Alps, in ten degrees below freezing snow and wind. As I pressed the edge, my falls became spectacular. As my Dutch hosts said, "If you are not falling, you are not challenging yourself." It was a terrific experience, resulting in an overwhelming feeling of success. I will return to Virtual Snow for follow-up lessons as I aim for French Black Diamond.

I wanted to try snowboarding so I took a lesson at the hill. I did not do too well, and I did not have very much fun, so I didn't try again until I met Bob and heard of Virtual Snow. I was a little skeptical of the system but I tried anyway. I was amazed with the results. I was carving, edging, but most important I was having fun. Thank you Virtual Snow.

I would just like to thank L.J. and Bob for teaching my girlfriend Beth how to ski. This is her 1st time on skis and after 8 sessions she is able to ski the intermediate trails with me. She may not be at my level, but I've been skiing for 25 years. If she keeps this rate of learning up though, I'm going to be left behind in her powder trail. Thanks so much Virtual Snow, our relationship wouldn't have lasted more than a year if she couldn't have joined me on the slopes.

What a great concept! After numerous lousy attempts on real snow trying to keep up with my friends, I heard about Bob Salerno and Virtual Snow. Yes it IS possible to learn how to ski in a cozy office in West Los Angeles. After four Virtual Snow lessons, I went to Mountain High to see if the training was helping me. My friends were shocked to see my improvement, but no one was more pleased than me. I had a blast and had great control. I'm not a pro, but after a few more Virtual Snow lessons I'll have a great foundation for future ski trips on the slopes. Thanks Bob!

I came to see Bob to see if I could go back to skiing at age 68 after not having being on skis for 18 years. I was once a pretty fair skier but stopped after a bad injury. After 10 lessons in thirty days I went to Copper Mountain and skied better than I had ever skied before. Not only did Bob's method teach me a whole new approach to skiing, effortlessly, and in total control, but I was in great physical shape and I had Bob's code words in my head so in effect I brought Bob to the mountain with me. I recommend Virtual Snow to skiers at every level of experience. It's the best way to go!

I WAS stuck in the advanced intermediate RUT for 12yrs. After several sessions at Virtual Snow doing Bob's drills I had 2 major breakthroughs. 1)Understanding the importance of using the outside edge of the uphill ski & 2) Learning pole plant timing and how to really pole plant. I was never able to get this much improvement with conventional private and group lessons on the mountain. And all I did was replace my gym workout with a virtual snow work out. I'm really looking forward to being ABLE to go helicopter skiing this year!!! Thanks to Virtual Snow!!

I recently was married and was going to take my first ski trip to Whistler/Blackcomb with my new husband who LOVES skiing. I didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of him and at least be decent enough to ski a few runs with him. Because of my lessons at Virtual Snow, I not only was able to ski a few runs with my husband but I was skiing down blue diamonds by the end of my first day and didn't wipe out once my third and fourth day. Then two weeks later we took a second small trip to Big Bear where I was even able to ski "The Wall", a double black!! Granted I wasn't the best out there but because of the foundation I received and the control I learned, I am confident skier who is eager to learn more! Thanks to Bob and the crew at Virtual Snow! My husband can't believe how good I am:)

I decided to learn snowboarding at 49yrs, Virtual Snow was the "Short-cut" I was looking for. All my other "transitional" skiers to Boarders experienced injuries which usually took them out for a season. I experienced many fewer WWF body slams, and was proficient after only a couple of runs. I'm 55 yrs old know and have recommended Virtual Snow to any who want to learn to Board!

It's official. I am a snowboarder at age 42!

The step-by-step instruction on video with a trainer(s) to assist was invaluable! [Thanks Rob, Bob and Brian :-)] I am NOT one of those "sitting snowboarders" clogging the runs!!

My time training at Virtual Snow was more then simply learning a technique. It was a "conditioning experience." Their system and their trainers allowed me to learn progressively and instill muscle memory so that I did not have to experience the "agony of defeat" in fits and starts nor agony of 'de feet, de wrists, de...' either!

Bob Salerno, himself, actually spent 4 hours with me at Mountain High teaching me the final steps of snowboarding. I had an exceptional last run and "went home a winner." (Those are Bob's words. He is a very encouraging guy!)

I have gone alone and boarded for the day with no kids, imagine that???

Tomorrow is my son's 13th birthday and I will be taking him and his friends to celebrate his birthday and I will NOT be at the lodge. Don't say anything, but I am a better boarder than they are!
